  Mascara Quality Control

  I am currently having difficulty in the manufacture of Mascara and ensuring that each batch is consistently made; but the real issue is QC testing each batch and how to ensure each batch is up to scratch.

  Does anyone have any reliable techniques to QC test a mascara that doesn’t rely on simply trying it, but is a little more scientific?

  Have you considered color matching, draw testing, viscosity and melt temperature? I don’t know how mascara is typically tested.
