  Lube slipperiness / viscosity decreasing over time.

  I just realized that the water based lube im trying to formulate with the help of a teacher, decreases in viscosity over time
  ( 2-3months) its stored at room temperature . What could be the issue please

  formulation is:- 0.4% potassium sorbate
                           1% vegetable glycerin     

                            5grams of citric acid (per litre)
                            25grams of polyethylene oxide.
