  Lowest effective % for exfoliation with salicylic acid

  Hey friends,

  I’m wondering if anyone knows of some papers, or knows themselves, what the lowest effective dose for exfoliation with salicylic acid is. I’ve seen products as low as 0.5% upwards of 2% (as regulated by most jurisdictions).

  Any info or insight would be helpful!

  0.15%. as a preservative geogard ECT because of this amount of SA is not allowed for leave on children products i guess it is effect 😜.

  The range 0.5% to 2.0% is specifically for products regulated as OTC acne products.
