    lower-pH soap is harsher than pure soap

    Is this article credible? It seems against common sense, and I’d never seen it cited before.

    Although practices like superfat with fatty acid or bring down pH directly with acid or leaving part of the fatty acids unneutralized aren’t really backed up by science.
