    Hi,

    Require advise.
Lotion is thinning out when filled with a  pneumatic filler.
    Formula as follows
    3% CSA
    1% Stearic Acid
    0.15% Polysorbate 60
    2.5% PJ
    1% Mineral Oil
    Preservative
    Fragrance
    Water

Once filled, it doesn’t return to original viscosity.

    Regards
    Mandy

@Cherma Assuming CSA is cetostearyl alcohol (and not knowing what PJ means), I’d say you have too little of emulsifier (polysorbate 60). That means that the lamellae of your interface doesn’t have many layers, so there’s not real solid or semisolid arrangement to return to after putting pressure on the fluid (like more elastic or viscoelastic emulsions do).

Petroleum jelly as I assumed, it’s seem you lotion lack of builder, try increase CSA up to 3-4, and add more solubilized like GMS since you oil phase quite alot, since you use stearic acid, beware with pH because it can change viscosity based on pH of your formulation.
