    water 76.5%

    propylene glycol 4%

    ethoxydiglycol 4%

    niacinamide 2%

    neossance squalene 2%

    seabuckthorn seed oil 2%

    seabuckthorn fruit oil 2%

    cetearyl alcohol 1%

    glyceryl stearate1%

    cetyl alcohol 1%

    dimethicone1%

    speigel 305 2%

    chamomile flower extract 1%

    liquid germall plus 0.5%

    citric acid (as needed)

Is this going to be a stable emulsion? I want this to be a skin brightening ultra light face lotion. when i test it out can I just add more water in place of niacinamide and squalene since they are water soluble and expensive add ins? I don’t want to add anything else or take anything away I would just like some suggestions on what else I can do before I start testing.

    It looks ok. But ..

    1. Isn’t seabuckthorn oil the very orange one? I have never worked with it, so not sure how much it “stains”?

    2. Do not remove anything for testing. You want to test the product as is. Squalane is not water soluble, it is a lipid. So you definitely want it in there for testing.

Good luck, keep us posted 🙂
