  Is it ok to use 0.2% cationic guar in a clarifying shampoo?

  I make a coditioner with 1% spdma, 2% fatty alcohol & 0.1% amodimethicone.

  With this i am making a clarifying shampoo with 7% SLES & 1% CAPB.

  Women who use them have noticed hair combing is easier if i use 0.2% cationic guar in this Shampoo. This result was from one or two use, not Long term use.

  My questions

  1. What ingredients can we add or not add in a clarifying shampoo that is used with conditioner above?

  2. Is it ok to use 0.2% cationic guar in a clarifying shampoo?

  3. What else do you recommend in a clarifying shampoo?

  You can use 0.2% of Cat Guar, just use the one for clear systems…or use PQ-10.

    Is there any difference in performance of the one for clear vs opaque system or just for appearance purpose?
