  • Is “Ingredients” mandatory on the label?

So my brand’s designer wants to have our ingredients listed under “What’s inside” rather than “ingredients”. From the FDA’s website I wasn’t able to tell whether this would be okay or not. Does anyone know?

You could precede the term “Ingredients” by the “What’s inside” phrase.

    “Ingedients” is a requirement.

Ingredients (What’s inside):” would be safer, but you could probably get away with “What’s Inside (Ingredients):” instead - but I’d check with a lawyer first, if I were you.
