Ingredient expiration date?????
I have a sample of an ingredient from a supplier that expires 4/22/22. If I go ahead and formulate with this ingredient before the expiration date is
that ok or is my final product no good once we get to the expiration date of the ingredient or is that expiration date only important if the ingredient remains unused once it reaches the expiration date? Once I formulate with the ingredient would it be ok to go ahead and send my product off for a stability/self life study? I hope I’m making sense and this question is not confusing. I apologize if it is. Thanks and assistance is appreciated. -
