  how to choose?

  Hello everyone,

  i made a niacinamide serum for myself and now plan to scale up production in a factory setting. Initially, I sourced niacinamide from resellers, but for bulk production, I want to choose a supplier. Can anyone advise on how to determine the best supplier in terms of quality and reliability?

  Additionally, I’ve been using Liquid Germall Plus as a preservative, but I’m considering switching to euxyl PE 9010 (phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin). What auxiliary ingredients would be suitable to complement this new preservative system?

  Here are the current ingredients in my serum formulation:

  • Aqua
  • Niacinamide
  • Glycerin
  • Hyaluronic Acid (HA)
  • CCT
  • Dimethicone
  • Emulsifiers
  • Solagum AX
  • EDTA

  I’d not switch preservatives. If you do, you must support 9010 with something for mold and Gram positive bacteria.
