  Hi! Does someone know what model of (cheap) homogenizer is best suited for small-scale cosmetics production?
  For operations like making creams / lotions / shampoos / conditioners etc

  Is it better to use rotor/stator type of working head or just a tooth-saw type?

  For example, given the following two models, which one is more universal (if any) ?

  the second one (the rotor/stator mixer) is a more widely used design, both on the lab and plant scale; it’s similar to a Silverson or Greaves mixer

  it’d be total overkill for making shampoos, but it’d work well for making creams, lotions and conditioners
