Hello, I have two clients a plastic surgeon and dermatologist who are teaming up to bring forth a skin care line. They have some ideas for products and also have the client base/physician backing which would be good for marketing. Any recommendations on next steps or where to get started?

Hi I have actually worked with a plastic surgeon client before. We build really beautiful websites and can do ads for them as well. Step 1 would be building the website with the products etc. Please reach out to moveupsmbs.com and fill out our form and let’s talk from there. We build wordpress websites, create custom booking forms, ecommerce integrations, do SEO for the site. And we have been doing all this for almost 15 years. Speak to you soon!- LJ

I’ve been there, done that. You need to really dig in and find out more about their clientele and their needs.

Identifying a good contract manufacturer is a key first step. Also, identifying benchmarks of products they want to emulate is crucial.

The next step would be to define the target customer, functionality of their products and then do some market research to identify a competitor set to identify Best In Class competitors. Are they primarily interested in an anti-aging skincare line, for instance, and what products would they like to include in a line? Once that is defined, then move on to what ingredients to include in the products.
