  Help Loss of Viscosity

  Hello.  I tried to switch preservatives and now that I am using Nipagard SCE -

  • INCI Name:

    Sorbitan Caprylate (and) Propanediol (and) Benzoic Acid

  I have complete loss of viscosity in all 5 formulas I recreated with it today.  Can someone please
  assist?  Is this or one of its components know to cause loss of
  viscosity or not be compatible with any particular ingredients?

  Hi there.  I reached out to the chemist for the company and he confirmed that the ingredient is known to cause loss of viscosity.
