  I have 3 preservatives for cosmetics and for foaming shampoo, which of the 3 would you prefer? 1) Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol. 2) Nipaguard SCE (Sorbitan Caprylate, Propanediol, Benzoic Acid). 3) Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin

  For Shampoo 1 or 3 but remember that it will reduce the viscosity. 2 may increase the viscosity but not very effective.

  For emulsion 1 or 3 + 2 and pH below 4.7 or another any fungal.

  Don’t forget chelating agent too.

  3 and. as Abdullah suggested, with a chelator.
