  hand sanitizer - biocide

  Greetings, 

  I haven’t visited the forum for a while, and I see about everyone is doing hand sanitizer gels.  What scares me very much is people asking how to do it, asking for ready information without even trying to read and learn the process. Producing and selling this product without even knowing what are you doing is very DANGEROUS!  Do some research on your own and after then ask for details here.  

  Now that I got this out of my chest, I was wondering if we can talk about the other part of this product, I mean the legal part.
  In the EU hand sanitizer gels can be registered as a biocide. Has anyone approached this route? I am looking for some recommendations regarding labs that are accredited to make tests for biocide products.

  The FDA regulates hand sanitizers in the US.

  Thank you for the useful links! I am looking for authorized labs that can test biocide products. I’ll contact my local authority to see what/where do they suggest to get the tests done.
