I start to formulate the hair and body mist. I add PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil with sunflower seed oil, it mix well. But when I try to mix it with ethanol around 70%, I got my solution become cloudy or milky. Do you have any suggestion about what should I do to make it as a clear solution?

    Really appreciate it

    Thank you

That’s because your forming an emulsion since you have an emulsifier, an oil and a water source (ethanol still has some water in it). Remove the oil or use it at very low levels.

    Thank you for replying.

If I’m not added water into alcohol, So, is that okay to have ethanol concentration at 96% level for hair and body mist product?

    Do you have any suggestion?
