  Glycerin for water based personal lube

  Hey, guys! 

  I need to formulate a personal lube, and initially i was going to use glycerin as humectant, but the opinions I had so far are a little bit divergent about it. 

  So I want to to hear from you, can glycerin really serve as food for microbes?!

  Surely you will be adding some preservatives to the formula?
