  Germall (a question)

  Liquid Germall preservative question:

  I made some liquid soap and had to put it into an enamel pot that happens to have some chips in the enamel, on the bottom. I added Liquid Germall + at 0.3% to the soap.

  MY QUESTION:

  Is this pot still safe to use for making tomato sauce or salsa? YES, I will wash it, but have I ruined this (chipped) enamel pot for cooking by using it as the vessel to add Germall to my liquid soap?
