  • Geogard 221 And Geogard ulta preservative for orange peel extract

I read some Data and found that Geogard 221 and Geogard Ulta are different products and different compositions.

On Geogard ulta I saw it’s not safe for ascorbic acid. I wanted to use that in Orange peel extraction. But it has a large amount of ascorbic acid so I stopped myself. Aloe vera gel and other natural products might have ascorbic acid in small amounts.

    1. So My question is, is it safe to use Geogard Ulta for any kind of natural extract formulations?

    2. How mush life will it increase for my product if I use Geogard ulta?

    3. How much life will it increase for my product if I use Geogard 221?

    Thanks in advance

How do you propose to cover gram negative with those preservatives?

    Ultra….will cause pH drifting down.

    Safe? Please explain.

Neither is likely to be a good preservative system.

@PhilGeis could it be….’safe’ is being used for the space the gram negatives live? Where they could comfortably “be fruitful and multiplying”? 😉
