  Freeze/Thaw and impact of esters and essential oils

  Hi,
  I made two versions of the same emulsion with Heliosoft/Siligel and natural butters and esters (MM and Lauryl Laurate)The one with esters doesn’t seem to freeze during the freeze cycles. How come and what does it mean?

  I made that same version with esters again and split it into two batches. I added 0.25%  of an essential oil blend (Rhododendron and Jamarosa)  to one, but not the other. Jamarosa has 79% geraniol.
  The one with EOs developed small crystals during Freeze, and the one without didn’t freeze. What does this mean? How can adding essential oils lead to crystals? Is the one with EO possibly less stable?
