    hello everyone,
can some fragrance oils produced for different types of cosmetic formulationd but body splashes and perfumes?!
a supplier in my country is offering some fragrance oils that i wanted to make some body splashes (aka body mist) using it, but the supplier said it can`t be used for that purpose. it is suitable to be incorporated only in skin & hair care products formulations.

what the reason behind that? i mean explain to me the chemistry of this.

I am not an expert…but I’d guess it contains a formaldehyde/releasing agent. It is frowned upon to aerosolize that ingredient….as inhalation is its concern.

    Just a guess though.
