  • Formulating a clear shampoo

    Any tips for using cationic gaur in  formulating a clear shampoo using smct, decyl n coco glucosides.. I also wish to include aloe 2x and poly 10 for emollient.. I always end us with a hazy formulation..  thanking you in advance..

    Remove cationic guar. 
    That’s it.

    @Roopal I’d choose a cationic guar for clear systems, like N-Hance CCG 45. You could also make a sample without cationic guar, to rule out any other possible source of turbidity.

    And don’t use so much aloe. 0.1% is plenty.

    Interestingly cationic guar for clear system is 3 times more expensive than regular cationic guar.
