hello everyone. what do you think of <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(-bb-body-text-color);”>Emulium® Dermolea (Polyglyceryl-6 Distearate (and) Candelilla/Jojoba/Rice Bran Polyglyceryl-3 Esters). I wanted to request sample but the supplier said that there is 400$ fees per samples only since the ingredient has to be CITES declared. do you think it is worth it? would you use it if you’re creating a barrier recovery cream?

I know that my question is subjective. But based on your experience in formulating I’d love to know your thoughts

There are for sure different ways to achieve that rather than using this emulsifier, like using ceramides, glycerin, some fatty alcohol (that can be converted into long chain fatty acids), etc.
