EDTA in shampoo improves leather and hair feel
This patent uses up to 0.65% EDTA in a shampoo claiming it improves lather and make it less hash for hair where water is very hard.
We have very hard water here too and we make 14:2 SLES CAPB active surfactants shampoos and we use 0.1% tetrasodium EDTA. So would using 0.65% EDTA in my shampoo improve the lather or hair feel or i didn’t understand this patent correctly?

I have idea thatadding EDTA improves Foaming, however 0.65 seems high to ordinary. I know some formulation reach 0.2%.
