Drone Technology in skin care
Posted by Rockstargirl on December 1, 2022 at 2:48 amWhat the what is this? I’ve read articles describing peptides taking a certain pathway to targeted cells via drone technology and now I feel like I’m formulating in the 1800’s. Where do they get this?

It’s a marketing term with no real scientific basis. Back in 2018, a line started using this “terminology” to describe the delivery of actives with nanomaterials and liposomes. GlyMed uses the marketing also.

Infinitec also touts “drone” delivery technology for peptides that they claim can target specific cell types. It’s basically encapsulated actives in a shell of PVP and Lactic/Glycolic Copolymer.

Thanks! I knew they were tying it to encapsulation. But what a stretch. Waiting for replicator nano bots to hit the market….

…Waiting for replicator nano bots…You don’t have to wait, just go ‘free from preservatives’ and you’ll have a self-replicating cosmetic formulation which highly selectively activates certain cell types in your skin  !
