  Dosage of sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate

  hello, so to preserve my hair gel (silicone and paraben, phenoxy free) which is made of flaxseeds and prickly pear lief home made, I don’t know how much to put and for how long it will last, can you tell me please 
  this is the formula:
  flaxseeds gel 60%
  prickly pear lief extract 33,6%
  Glycerin 4%
  xanthan gum 1%
  parfum 1%
  benzoate sodium 1%
  potassium sorbate 0,4% 

  Im aware of the ph that it must be under 5,5 so that the preservation would be efficient 
  also for the prickly pear lief extract : I peel it off, cut it in small pieces, soak it in a distilled water together in a sterilized jar, put it in the fridge for 24h and that’s it 

  for the flaxseeds, I boile it in water and then extract the gel, all for instant use
