Dip tube trimmer?
Looking for a simple and inexpensive dip tube trimmer for lotion pumps. Something human powered that will give me consistent lengths for dip tubes and preferably a ‘V’ shaped notch.

USA based…so that would be first choice for a vendor.
Saw this out of the UK…. Wanting something along these lines.

Are all small scale producers just using scissors?

Just a hint for small quantities: Most dip tubes have the “v” shape on both ends. So you can remove the dip tube and cut it (with scissors or similar) and insert the cut end into the pump leaving you with the “v” shape on the other end.If you are ordering larger quantities you can often ask the supplier to trim the tubes to the correct length. -
I think if you are doing business from selling it, the most important part would be how to cut the costs. Tubes are at least half the price of bottle with pump.
I use pump but now i am changing it to tube because of the price. So it may be worth considering.

@Graillotion If you know of any machine shops they could probably make something like this for you. Not sure about expense but if they are local you might save on the cost of shipping, you’re Hawaii-based right?

I decided to thin the formula a touch…and switch to a flip cap.
Saves $$$
And production is much easier.

Flip cap with squeeze bottle, if your formula’s not thin enough when you reach the bottom would problem.
what is you bottle volume?
Tube is more manageable. There’s 225-250 ml airless bottle (olay model) from China (forgot the company name) - pretty cheap but looks pretty cheap too. -

I have a product that is prone to oxidation….and I had been looking at some 150ml airless bottles…but cost was $2.00 per unit (good quality, they sent me samples). I could use those bigger sizes as well.
