  curl cream

  hello im trying to make this curl cream skipping the salcare sc 96 because its getting hard to get in my country
  i need it simple, and thick
  but what can i use to replace it? with out the salcare it´s liquid and need a cream or gel 
  this is the formulation

  water 87%
  cetearyl acohol 4%
  salcare sc 96  0.4%
  dehyquart a ca 6%
  peg 40 1%
  fragance .80%
  preservative .20%

  What thickeners do you have access to?  There are a wide range of them available like Cellulosic Thickeners, Xanthan gums, Carbomer, etc.

  Thaks for replying,
  i tryied novemer ec 1 (glumpy finish) , carbomers ( makes it sandy ), and peg 150
  i think i need a cationic one right?
