  Cupuacu butter as an emulsifier

  I have read  couple of places the cupuacu butter can be used as am emulsifier. Is that correct? 

  I wanted to make a body lotion.

  from my understanding,  cupuacu butter cant be used as an emulsifier. it can help stablize emulsifications because of its ability to retain water. but any butter can help stabilize emulsifications, from my understanding as a home crafter. 

  but if you make a lotion with cupucau butter, water, and no emulsifier, it will not stay together. treat it like any other oil.
