    Hello Everyone!

I am new to this website and am looking to find someone who is a cosmetic chemist and interested in creating eyeshadow formulas for a beauty company in the US.

We are located in Los Angeles, California. I know this might not be the place to post, but I have been looking for a chemist who specializes in cosmetics for quite some time and it has not been easy to find. We are looking for someone who has a lot of experience with cosmetic machinery, and creating the formulas.

We will be starting with eyeshadows but eventually be moving into other formulas for face/eyes and lips.

We would also be interested in anyone who can offer consulting on what machinery would be needed to manufacturer the eyeshadow powder.

If this isn’t the place to be posting a job listing, can anyone please tell me where I could find someone who would fulfill these needs?

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you all!

The machinery to make color cosmetics is expensive. There is a huge cost advantage to being able to buy raw materials in bulk. Lastly, you’re not going to have enough work to justify hiring a chemist full-time.

Honestly, you’d be much, much better off contracting with one of the private label color cosmetics outfits in the LA area while you build your brand for a while before attempting to make your own eyeshadow.
