  Color consistency in color cosmetics

  Hello,

  Is a colorimeter under $1000 good enough to achieve OK color consistency between batches of a tinted lip balm?
  I was particularly looking at 3NH’s NH310 portable colorimeter.
  If colorimeters are good enough, what are some particular features/specification that are a must?
