If you had to make a cold-processed hair conditioner with roughly the same rheology and feel as one that contains Cetyl & Stearyl Alcohol, what would you use to get that effect?

Salcare doesn’t quite give the same feel.

we’ve used Jeen’s ICE-T-CPCS before, it’s a bit of a pain to work with. For me it had no issues at 5% with a good dispersion blade, but in another formula my colleague made it never thickened/dispersed properly.

    Behenyl alcohol?
But that still needs melting so I don’t know if that fulfills your cold process requirement.

@Gunther - I was specifically looking for solutions that do not require any heating
