    Hi,
I’m creating cleansing balm with 60% oil phase and 3% of CAPB (active matter) . what ingredience do actually work in this type of product?
The product  must be “natural” so silicones are not accepted.  I used squalane and glycerin as active ingredients  but will they make any diffrence?

@Karo_lina This is too vague a question to answer effectively I am afraid. You’ll need to divulge the physical form, all constituents, outcome desired….much more than here. Be advised the term “active ingredients” is confusing for us veteran formulators. What activity is inferred?

sorry for my mistake. At this moment this is what i have:

    Olive oil – 15%
    Gliceryl Stearate SE- 4%
    Shea butter- 15%
    Cocoa butter – 10%
    Cetyl alcohol- 4%
    Almond oil - 10%
    Ricinus oil- 6%
    Squalene – 2%
    CAPB (30%)- 8 %
    Xantan gum 0 0,2 %
    Glycerin- 6%
The rest would be water, preservative.

I get cream with nice after feel but I’m wondering if i can add something extra to make the skin feel hydrated after wash it.

Maybe adding caprylic/capric triglyceride could help with hydration/moisture retention. Consider replacing half of your glycerin with it, or a bit of your olive oil.

try sodium cocoyl glutamate, that’s got a very pleasant after-feel
