Can add Camphor & Menthol to lotion base?
Hi all, I was wondering if I can make a pain relief cream by adding camphor and menthol to a base. Is there a risk of stability or separation issues? Thank you!

There is always a chance for instability and separation
You can, of course, add that into your emulsion, just follow correct processes (temperature, antioxidant if required, etc.. ) And test it out.

Are you asking if you can purchase a private label base manufactured by a third party and then blending-in menthol and camphor … but menthol and camphor are not added-in when the base is being manufactured?
