Benzyl Peroxide and Other Active Ingredients

Hello friends,
I am a formulator for a small cosmetic company in Florida. I am posting because recently I was asked to formulate a product with benzyl peroxide and cannot seem to find a benzyl peroxide supplier in the US. Would anyone be kind enough to share a few suppliers?

Any words of advice or wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Lola, it is “benzoyl” peroxide you are looking for, right? The one used in acne remediations? Call up Essential Ingredients and inquire. I cannot remember the trade name , but the 50% solution is standard. Sigma-Aldrich is OK, but you will pay a premium for it.

Hi Chemical Matt, yes you’re correct. The active ingredient in acne medications. I will reach out to them for a quote.

@chemicalmatt You may be thinking of Curoxyl 42 which used to be an Essential Ingredient material. Vantage details them now.
