  Behentrimonium Chloride and Cetrimonium Chloride

  Hi,

  What are your thoughts on having both Behentrimonium and Cetrimonium Chloride in a leave-in hair product? Do I need them both or one will suffice? I have three other emollients included and a cationic guar gum.

  I know there’s a maximum usage level for these ingredients but is there an established allowable total usage level if using both?

  Just use BTAC. The reason has been told in another discussion.
