Hello everyone, its been a journey trying to make a simple gel cleanser and I have no idea what i’m doing wrong. Any basic formulas to follow?

    Surfactants on hand:
    Cocamidopropyl Betaine
    -
Polyglucose/Lactylate Blend (Decyl Glucoside (and) Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate)

The formulas i’ve created tend to be hazy rather than clear with lots of bubbles that don’t seem to go away. I’d love a step in the right direction on % for a basic formula. Thank you all so much !!

What kind of mixer are you using?  If you’re using a stick blender those are not appropriate for a cleanser formula. They draw in too much air.

You can find formulas in the sources listed here.

I have just been mixing by hand but not so much. Its when I add the surfactants that it bubbles up.. maybe its the Cocamidopropyl Betaine? I looked through the formulas but didn’t see a basic recipe for a clear gel cleanser. Thanks for your help (=
