APG (Alkyl Poly Glucoside) is really sulfat free ?
I have read in supplier literature and in that they have mentioned that sulfat ash < 3.0 %
Now What is the definition of Sulfat Ash ? if Product contain Sulfat and how can we say its sulfat free ?

It’s a marketing gimmick - if we don’t have a sulfate on the ingredient label, it’s OK to claim sulfate-fee. There’s actually nothing wrong with sulfates anyway, so we’re not concerned about safety.

I want to know that if Sulfat ash - 2% in report so can we understand that in the material 2 % sulfate is there ?

the sulphated ash test is done to determine the presence of certain metals
it’s done by burning off all the organic matter, then heating the sample with sulphuric acid, converting the oxides of those metals into sulphates
it has nothing to do with the material’s inherent sulphate content

When a product claims “sulfate free” they mean there is no surfactant with the word sulfate in it’s name (e.g. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, or Sodium Laureth Sulfate)
But like @Bobzchemist said, it’s a marketing gimmick.
