  alternatives of parabens

  What are the alternatives of Parabens for shampoo?

   As i want my product Paraben free?

  Product contains:

  SLES, CAPB, COCO diethnolamine, PQ-7, Aloevera ext., GHTC.

  One in mind is Phenoxyehthanol.

  I found Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone on one label.
  

  Are these MCI/MI combination enough?

  Is DMDMH  safer? using DMDMH can we claim as formaldehyde free?

  As DMDMH’s mode of action is being a formaldehyde releaser, you cannot claim formaldehyde free.

  Yes, the MCI/MI blend can be enough for preservation. Although many consumers have negative reactions to exposure from it (~5% of population) so a lot of companies avoid it.

  @ngarayeva001 - yes, however that could also be a result of better detection methods and not necessarily an increase in the number of actual cases.

  My supplier has Euxyl range.

  what about Phenoxyehtanol + Ethylhexylglycerin blend?
