My Patchouli Lavender Face Wash formulation
A fragrance that instantly transports you to fields of blooming Lavender with an earthy, exotic edge of Patchouli.
It’s the patchouli that creates a sense of intrigue and fascination around the lavender.
And the result? An exotic and sensuous fusion of calming patchouli to balance your skin, luxurious lavender to tone and revitalise, and a dash of citrusy Bergamot to help reduce the bacteria on your skin.
Underpinning this amazing fragrance is the face wash base I formulate from saponified pure natural extra-virgin olive oil. Imagine, a face wash made without the usual irritating synthetic surfactants so common these days.
And something else. By saponifying this natural extra-virgin olive oil I can adjust the saponification to leave some of the olive oil unsaponified. It provides that little extra skin moisturising.
Back in the day, I manufactured and exported my Patchouli Lavender Face Wash globally. It was an amazing success and a great revenue generator.
From nothing, in 2006, I co-founded two skincare manufacturing factories with my wife, which ran until 2023. This gives me 17 years experience of hands-on experience in formulating and making skincare.
