  What Lab Tests Are Needed?

  Hello,

  We manufactured a mouthwash over 2 years ago and want to see whether the product is expired.

  What lab tests should we conduct to verify this? 

  Also, do you recommend any specific labs?

  Before doing anything, Microbial testing.
  Then rerun all of the Specification tests.
  Probably should do a consumer panel taste test to see if it still performs.

  Micro testing: content to spec and, if you’ve not conducted it, stability testing.

  Shouldn’t the lab tests be stated in your GMP SoPs for the product? We would fail our GMP audit if this wasn’t done.
