  • Outsource milling a powdered extracted?

    Hi:

I have a raw material - C02 extracted birch bark (standardized to 97% triterpenes) that comes in a granular powder form and is only sparingly oil soluble. I would like to suspend this at 10% in an anhydrous oil base but it’s so clumpy and the granules are not even a standard size… my overhead mixer can’t solve that problem.

Is there anywhere I can have it milled into a paste with say caprylic/capric triglyceride so the granules are roughly the same size and fine enough to suspend in my formula? I don’t need very much. Just enough to experiment with and would rather not purchase an ointment mill at the moment.

    Thanks,
    Elise
