Welcome to the Cosmetic Raw Material course

Overview:

The purpose of this course is to introduce you to all the different types of ingredients used in creating cosmetic, beauty product, and personal care formulas.

Objectives:

After successfully completing this course you will

• Know why specific ingredients are used in formulations
• Enhance your knowledge of which ingredients can be used together and which ones can’t
• Be able to identify the function of cosmetic raw materials based on its name
• Become a better formulator who is more knowledgable about different raw materials and their usage
• Learn what ingredients to use to make formulas that are safe and effective
• Understand the science of how raw materials interact with skin and hair to provide benefits
