solubility depends on the % of SLES you are using in your formula. You can give heat while gentle stirring. this is the simple way to dissolve it quickly.

@ Perry, I am using SLES 4%(Cognis Texapon N70). Required
thickening was obtained 4% salt, I was also amazed with that. Will try to lower
salt in combinition with hydroxpropyl methylcellulose. Also by 8% SLES
did you mean SLES (100%) 8%?On oily skin foam
completely suppressed, is there any way to have good foam in the presence of
sebum on skin?Any technique for
flash foaming?@ mikebavington, I will reduce salt and will adjust pH near
to you said. Also any good literature on foaming and foaming techniques?
Thanks both of you.

I am almost at the completion of the free learning material, which will be available online at my web in English as well as in Urdu language.

- For reduced irritation use Ca and potassium salts of TGA instead of its Na salt, the downside is Ca and K salts are not as efficient as Na salt of TGA .
- Use D.I. water and EDTA for more stability.
- Use urea for hair shaft swelling and SLS in small quantity for even application and sebum removal on hair for better efficacy of depilatory. Beaware! SLS is renowned skin irritant!!!
- Use purest grades of TGA and alkalies available in market.
- Use PG, mineral oil and Aloe vera exract.
