Ozgirl , how about claiming 98 % organic? Bcs i don’t want to add such non ionic /naturally derrived ingredients which may cause toxic issues for e.g. Glucamate vlt was suggested , i may get it but i read somewhere that PEG products are harmful in long run. I am really confused and struck in the middle just because of the thickner.
So may be i could combine xanthan gum with carbapol sf1 and check the consistency and viscousity? I read some formula which has these both. Any idea, anyone? Actually i am new to this cosmetic making.my knowledge is only experience based and is very limited. It has almost been 6 months since, i am researching in this shampoo. -
Yes i tried colouring with alkanet but it changed gradually to dark dirty purplish black. So i had an idea of colouring with such acidic extracts like tomotoes which can resist and hold their colour in low ph of 6 . may be am wrong?

I also want to know whether natural vegetable extracts like tomato/carrot change their colours from their original in neutral ph(6)? I searched and searched, read documents and did some experiments too but couldn’t conclude.

Btw Thanks for such wonderful members here who come forward to help others. I really love this site and a Big “Thanks” for the one who made it.

Now the irritation is not there. Ok i will take out the glucoside and Olive oil. I actually added it for the lather. I am not finding a non ionic thickner in my country, India. I have read some of the data sheet of Glucamate vlt as suggested by brother Belassi and tried to find it in my country but couldn’t get it sadly. Now i am struck in the middle. All my investments and my efforts should not go in vain as my friends and others are in love with my other products and eagerly waiting for my shampoo now! Even me and my family are in need of it. Pls help!!!

Yes henna turns grey into orange. But if it is applied in black hair it can give a dark brown shade. Henna shd be added to normal water/strained tea (caffained) with little bit of yogurt, amla powder, coffee powder and should be brought to a paste consistency keeping it overnight and applying the next morning. It shd sit for 1 or 2 hrs before rinsing. Shd not apply shampoo while rinsing. If u follow all these procedures then it will colour your hair and won’t dry them. otherwise henna doesn’t leave a darker shade and it’s not permanent as it goes off within 4 to 5 washes(with shampoo)

Cocomidopropyl betaine
With natural extracts like ginseng and aloeveraI have tried xanthan gum for thickening but i didn’t like the gooie texture so tried HEC but oil and watet phase gets separated so now gonna try Carbapol Aqua sf 1 but don’t know how to add and what percentsge to add in 100 ml of shampoo, also will my shampoo consider to be natural after adding this polymer and would it harm the scalp or any harmful ingredient in carbapol?
