Juliet.
My filling people are in California, can you give me the lead on any printers who do foil and clear labels? Thanks -
Thanks Perry.
Bobchemist, yes step 1,2 & 3 would be logical. Except for the fact that some of the bottles have inclusions. Hard to add those when a bottle is full, and difficult to ask a filling line to put less in the bottle. The logistics of shipping bottles to one of the groups you mentioned, having the inclusions placed in the bottles, shipped to the manufacturer for filling and labeling and finishing then shipping to the store, was a logistical nightmare. Moving to the US was just about the only option.
I was looking for someone who already made soap or something similar, understood the hygiene requirements and had an artistic flair. However I have now organised to gave bulk product shipped to a small filling station, they have hand finishers.
Thanks for your time gentlemen.

Found chimicalmatt thanks Perry.

Perry, chemicalmatt? Sorry, not familiar with this.
Sorry Bobchemist. I should have said 1 gallon and five gallon multiples. Both suggestions are correct to a degree. The issue is the hand finishing of the bottles, not usually done by either of you suggestions. You are right in that I am looking for someone who has that capabilities of producing small runs and hand finishing them, or someone with no knowledge who can take a product I supply and bottle and hand finish the bottles. -

Mark Fuller - eighteen months ago you put me onto a chemist in Australia, a VERY successful outcome.David W - Private label is what I am looking for.BobzChemist - I wish to heavens I known about a consultant!!! it would have saved me a great deal of research. The Company BS I a going to have to take a chance with. I discounted some after searching on Goggle Earth and finding a tin shed or an office block instead of a factory. I have a cosmetic chemist evaluating the products.Mayurdave- thankyou.I did add my email to the last post? I’ll try again. Perhaps it is not permitted? hq at designexau dot com.Thank you again for your patience. -

MemberFebruary 28, 2014 at 5:39 pm in reply to: seeking a Body & Hair Care Manufacturer for a pilot test run. Thanks all - private label is what I am looking for to start with. Buy in bulk, bottled, packaged, labeled, sealed. Does that sound doable to anyone? I have looked at many and disregarded, either specializing in face, hair only, sell only in units for salons, contract only, bad formulations ( INCI classified carcinogenics), or hideously expensive. My market goes from basic to high end, naturally I’m starting with basic to minimize risk until we get established. Note: I come to this from the marketing end, not production or chemical, so marketing and artwork, bottles if required, are all ready to go.
