@mikethair thank you for this information. Im trying to formulate a shampoo using cocoate sodium that we make inhouse using coconut oil. but the problem is that the shampoo gets milky and unclear at around 20 degree. could you please advice if you have such a problem and also are you using a preservative. the PH is high and most natural preservatives are incompatible with PH >8. thank you.

Catherine you are totally right. I have left the oil for couple of days and the scent has developed well. I have also get rid of some oils that have strong smell and increased the % of fractionated coconut oil. for the Balm, the smell is bit different because of butters but still smell nice. Thank you very much guys for your advice

Thank you Perry for your reply. I have managed to dissolve propolis into the formulation after several trials and I got clear gel without foam so here is what i did;
- I have added propolis to symbio solv clear plus with EO & VE and I have heated slightly the mixture before adding to the gel to get rid of the foam.
