Thanks for you for your valuable advices.
Surfactant base of my shower gel includes ‘ammonium lauryl sulfate’ as primary surfactant.
Could it be a interaction between primary surfactant and preservative (phenoxyethanol, dehydroacetic acid and benzoic acid)?Or a presence of Chelating agent (Tetrasodium glutamate diacetate)?
    Thanks in advance

Thanks Perry, I read the very interesting link related stabilty protocols. Therefore, of each prototype I take 3 samples and place one at 40C, one at RT and one at 4C.Keep then for 3 months monitoring every 2 weeks. Is correct?
And thermal cycles how is it better to set them?
If my client want to keeo high quantity of perfume how can I stabilize the emulsion?
    Thank you very much

Thank you for your comments. do you believe that the results of a 48 h occlusive patch test are quite exhaustive?

    Hello Doctorbrenda,

we conducted occlusive patch tests on human skin. the application lasted 48 hours and were non Irritant. To test the effectiveness of the preservation system we performed a challenge test

thanks Siber! the preservative system is composed as follows: about 80% benzyl alcohol, about 12% benzoic acid and about 8% dehydroacetic acid. the% of benzyl alcohol in the finished product is around 0.8%. We have carried out patch tests on the finished product and they are not irritating. What other tests can we carry out for the safety of the product? with the preservatives allowed by the Cosmos specification there are not many choices unfortunately ..
    thank you so much

Good evening! Do you have experience about sodium benzoate? I want realize an Aloe vera gel with a large percentage of organic Aloe vera gel (about 95%) preserved with sodium benzoate (0,2%) and potassium sorbate (0.1%).
    Thank you

Thanks for your council. I would like to create a after sun lotion well parfumed but sure for consumers. I will tested it at various concentrations (0,5%-1% max) to verify perfume.
Usually in body lotion I use 1% of fragrance and patch tests are ok.

Why less than 1% for you?

It is a PEG-free O/A emulsion.Principal emulsifier is sucrose polystearate and cetearyl alcohol and cetyl palmitate are co- emulsifier.UV filters are chemicals and physical.
