Thanks @Perry
Actually, I heat water phase and surfactant phase separately at approximately 70 C. First I did try to add thickener in water phase by using overhead stirrer and then add surfactant mix to water phase by using overhead stirrer. I also tried reverse method means I add thickener to surfactant mix and then mixed with water phase by using overhead stirrer. In both case, I found a lot of micro bubbles in my shampoo. -
HI @DavidW..
Sorry but you misunderstood my question? Actually My pH is around 5.5 and I want to reduce it to around 5.0 (0.5 to 0.7 reduction). -
Thanks @RawMaterialGirl..
So this means I should add 50% solution at the end after complete formulation?? -

MemberFebruary 12, 2014 at 8:38 pm in reply to: Cosmetic Microbiologist Here. I Can Help Answer Your Germ QuestionsWe have just a small skin care company and started to formulate natural skin care products. At the moment, we have formulated a moisturizing cream using natural ingredients such as coconut oil, avocado oil, cucumber extracts, vitamin E, etc. We used natural preservatives Parfum (Naticide) 0.8% and Potassium Sorbate 0.7%. Formulation is very good and cream is also very good. We sent for the Preservative Efficacy test and got the following result.
