Thank you for the detailed explanation. Unfortunately, I will have to toss the product. I will not be using BPO.

    Hi Bob,

    Sorry for the delay.
    1) I want to see what my alternatives are.
    2) Its used in an make up “eye” product I am looking at so I think it is spherical powder
    3) Function would be texture and non caking
    4) This eye shadow is pressed.
I am an info junkie so I always like to know “how to” ;)

Thank you, got it! Just trying to master the excel formula for testing. I use the row and column formula and also set up the scale formula. Love excel!

It was so easy, I missed the tree looking through the forest…lol

Thank you All for your input.

I rather make  vs purchase from a vendor. I have not made anything with KOH yet but it seems worth it in the end to learn another craft.
I checked all the links provided..thank you!

Ok. Thank you. I’m not going there then. I’ll just not make mention of SPF.

Those are both great commments! thank you! And I suppose companies don’t always offer test results, data and license just because you request it? Or do they?

Question, if you formulate to those exact specifications and they are willing to send test results and data but no license, would that satisfy the FDA, and I could use the tested SPF rating? I would think license is just the business end not the formulation specifications and testing data?

Much appreciated and will remove those label options. Thank you!

    Ps..
Can I use SPF drug facts if I use a posted formula from BASF or any other chemical company that gives their formula out? Can I claim that SPF?
